Garden Design in Cheshire, the Wirral & North Wales

Every garden begins with a conversation — not simply about the space, but about how you live, what you value, and how you want your landscape to feel over time.

Our work sits at the intersection of architecture and landscape. We design gardens that are not applied to a property, but intrinsically connected to it — shaped by context, guided by structure, and resolved with care.

Approach

Designed in response to people, place and architecture.

Working across Cheshire, the Wirral and North Wales, we create considered, design-led gardens that feel settled within their setting and closely aligned with the character of the house.

Each project begins with careful observation. Aspect, soil, levels, surrounding landscape and the language of the building itself all inform the design. From this, a framework emerges — one that feels natural, but is precisely composed.

The result is a garden that belongs: calm, coherent and enduring.

Working together

For clients who value design as part of the whole.

We typically work with clients who see their garden as an integral part of their home — not an afterthought, but a considered extension of it.

Often, this includes architecturally-led properties, period homes undergoing renovation, and projects where materiality, proportion and spatial flow matter as much outside as they do within.

Our role is to guide the process with clarity, balancing creativity with technical understanding so that every decision contributes to a coherent whole.

Process

Structured, but responsive as each project evolves.

While every project is unique, our process follows a series of clearly defined stages — providing structure, transparency and confidence at each step.

This may include initial consultation and site appraisal, survey and analysis, concept design, developed layouts, technical detailing, planting design and, where required, contractor coordination during delivery.

Each stage builds on the last, allowing the design to evolve with clarity and intent.

Stages

Clear milestones, with room for refinement.

Key points within the process are defined as milestones. At these stages, we review progress together and confirm the direction before moving forward — supported by increasingly detailed information as the design develops.

Alongside this, additional stages can be introduced where a project calls for further depth, whether through detailed planting design, bespoke elements or greater technical resolution.

This approach keeps the process rigorous, while allowing each garden to be fully resolved in its own way.

Outcome

Gardens that feel inevitable — and endure.

The finished garden should feel as though it could not have been otherwise — calm, cohesive and entirely at ease with its surroundings.

From the alignment of terraces to the rhythm of planting, every element is considered. Nothing is arbitrary. Nothing is overworked.

The result is a landscape that matures gracefully over time, and continues to reveal its quality long after completion.
