Designed in preparation for a family wedding, the garden needed to feel both immediate and lasting — a setting capable of holding a significant moment, while remaining grounded in the life of the house long after the occasion had passed.

The design brings structure and calm to the site, organising space in a way that feels generous, legible and easy to inhabit. Terraces, routes and planted areas work together to create a sequence of spaces suited to gathering, movement and quieter daily use, without losing sight of the wider landscape beyond.

Planting plays a central role in softening that framework and giving the garden atmosphere. The result is a landscape that feels settled and memorable — shaped for celebration, but designed to endure well beyond it.
